Vintage patchwork crazy quilt, made by a group of gals from Boyceville, Wisconsin as gift for a friend (a wedding gift, a moving gift, a graduation gift, maybe for a retirement?).
I don't know who the recipient of this lovely thing was, but the ladies who made the blocks have signed them - some in embroidery, some in fabric paint. This was completed in 1967.
It's a wonderful mix of colors and prints, nearly all cotton fabrics. Hand tied with yarn, not quilted. Measures 68" x 82" overall. It's in very good condition, never used, carefully stored away for over 50 years.
