long white cotton apron w/ drawn thread lace, old wedding apron or folk costume w/ embroidered bag

Lovely old whitework apron with elaborate hand stitched details... a wedding apron or ethnic folk costume apron? This is out of a old farm estate in rural Wisconsin, so it's hard to be certain.

We do know that it was carefully made and kept, and put into the embroidered linen lingerie bag shown here with it. We've left this set just as we found it. It's not in flawless condition (both the bag and the apron have spots) but it's beautiful just as it is.

The apron is fine cotton lawn, 12 1/2" across the skirt front, 34" long. There's a few broken threads to the lace.
