hand-stitched vintage cotton quilt, pinwheel star quilt in apricot & aqua

We love this vintage hand-stitched quilt, such lovely old colors, and beautifully made. It's 30s to 50s vintage at our guess - we seldom see hand sewing in newer quilts, and the cotton solids used here seem right for that period in both color and quality. It measures 88" x 78" overall.

I don't believe this quilt was ever used, though it does have a few spots from the original fabric as well as from its years in a cedar chest. We've aired it outside, but have not washed it or had in cleaned.
