snowflake applique hand stitched quilt, 1950s vintage blue & white cotton cutter quilt

Mid-century vintage all cotton applique quilt - we love this wintery snowflake pattern here, even though this is rather poorly stitched with big, uneven stitches. Someone put a lot of time and love into this piece, even if it didn't turn out as perfectly as they might have wished!

It's clearly been well loved and used, and shows yellowing, general grubbiness, spots (we haven't washed or soaked it) and also some holes. It measures 82" x 64", so there's quite a bit of material if you want to cut Christmas stockings or a tree skirt from this quilt.
