vintage Whitman Pin the Tail on the Donkey party games 1940s 1950s complete posters tails

Lot of two Whitman (of Whitman books fame) Pin the Tail on the Donkey party games, with different illustrators - both very cute, super retro!

The instruction sheets are marked 1947 on both of these, but I think the one with the orange border is probably 1947, and the Myers one (mint green) is probably early 1950s. Both posters are clean and bright and display very nicely, though they have some wear to the edges and corners.

Orange bordered poster measures 22 1/2" x 24 1/2" overall. Green measures 19" x 21". Both have the original boxes, and 24 tails - but the set with the orange border has TWO tails marked 9, and NO number 5 tail! Tails from this set are worn, tails from the other set look good.
